Classification:

5-Man 'RaceTo' Division 5

For those of you considering the WCPPL in 2011, this is how you get there. A Rookie is classified as anyone who is Division 5 or less (ex. div 6, div 7, etc.). Individuals who participated in two or more WCPPL or XPSL Rookie events DO NOT QUALIFY as a Rookie in the CEPL, Nor may any player have participated in more than one event as a division 4 player in the current season. (example: A player may play one WCPPL event as division 4 and still be classified as a rookie in the CEPL. When that player participates in their second event in division 4, she/he no longer qualifies as a rookie in the CEPL.)

Exception: each team playing in the 5man 'RaceTo' Division 5 may roster ONE (1) Division 4 player.

Exception: any team that participates in the WCPPL event #3 as a division 4 player at Capital Edge Paintball Park will receive a "bye" to their ranking for that event only.

The Rookie Division is the place to test your skills, and push yourself and your game to the limits.

Teams with players found to be in violation of the Classification rules will be disqualified, and no refunds will be issued. We take the issue of "sandbagging" seriously, and will be reviewing each player's history.

Reclassification:

Reclassifications will be reviewed on a case by case basis, and the CEPL reserves the right to reclassify any player based on league's discretion. All requests for reclassification need to be made in writing, via e-mail at info@thecepl.com. The deadline for reclassification requests will be two weeks prior to the event in question, so we may have adequate time for research purposes. If a request is made after the deadline, it will NOT be considered. No reclassifications will be considered the day of the event.
